If you’re after Perth beachfront accommodation, then Scarborough is definitely one of the top picks for places to stay in Perth. This is one of the best places along the coastline where you don’t have to be reliant on a car to get you around. The public transport facilities are good and there’s plenty of things to do in the immediate vicinity.

The Rendezvous Hotel is one of Perth’s most recognisable landmarks and the grand old dame of Scarborough beach. Therefore, if you’re after a traditional hotel with busy lobby, piano bar and breakfast buffet then the Rendezvous should be your first choice.

The facilities at the Rendezvous Hotel are excellent with the rooftop lagoon pool and bar our favourite spot. There’s also a tennis court and games room.

Ocean Beach Hotel, Cottesloe Beach

Along with Scarborough, Cottesloe beach is the other place where you’ll find the best beachfront hotels in Perth. The main reason is that you have almost all you need on your doorstep. Cottesloe Beach is one of Perth’s most picturesque beaches. There are plenty of dining options, bars, cafes and supermarkets. all in close walking distance.

The Ocean Beach Hotel has superb ocean views and is our pick for the best Cottesloe beach accommodation. The hotel is very reasonably priced and has modern rooms.

Cottesloe beach is well connected by public transport with easy access to the train line via a free shuttle bus. From here, it’s a 15-minute train ride to Perth CBD or ten-minutes to Fremantle.

Cottesloe Beach Hotel, Cottesloe Beach

The Cottesloe Beach Hotel has one of the best coastal locations in Perth. Located opposite one of Perth’s most stunning beach, you won’t want to venture too far.  The rooms at the Cottesloe hotel are modern and well furnished but can be on the smaller side. We recommend getting the rooms with private balconies which makes for the perfect spot to watch the sunset.

The popular Cottesloe Beach Club is located behind the hotel and makes for a great spot to enjoy a drink or two. Like the Ocean Beach Hotel, you’ll have all you need on your doorstep with easy access to other dining options and public transport.

Quality Resort Sorrento Beach

Sorrento is one of Perth’s northern coastal suburbs and is in walking distance to Hillary’s boat harbour. The Sorrento Quality Resort offers a variety of accommodation options including studio room and self-contained apartments with two or three-bedrooms.

We love the free breakfast and the luxury spa suites. The resort has some great facilities including a heated outdoor pool, spa and BBQ area.

This is one of the best options if you want to stay in Perth’s north and along the fabulous sunset coast. The resort is across the road from Sorrento Beach is a very safe and family-friendly beach that’s great for swimming. It’s also one of the few beaches in Perth that has a shark barrier.

There are bus connections to the train station but a car is recommended.

Mullaloo Beach Hotel

Mullaloo is one of the prettiest stretches of beach along Perth’s coastline and you won’t always find it this busy.

Mullaloo Beach is located in Perth’s northern suburb and has one of the whitest and longest stretches of beach that’s perfect for a morning walk or run. If you’re looking for a relaxing and quiet beach getaway that’s far removed from the city hustle and bustle, then Mullaloo fits the bill.

The Mulllaloo hotel boasts large spacious apartment with full kitchen facilities, spa baths and ocean views and probably comes the closest to luxury beach accommodation in Perth. There’s also an onsite restaurant and pub as well as a few other cafe options in walking distance.

Mullaloo is on the northern coastline and approximately 25 km north of the Perth CBD. There are bus connections to the train station but if you want to go sightseeing or venture to other spots for eating out, it’s advisable to have your own car.

Be. Fremantle

The Be Fremantle is an apartment-style hotel located at the Fremantle fishing boat harbour. and has one of Perth’s most unique locations.  The Be Fremantle is well worth considering, especially if you want to stay in Fremantle.
